While a keen interest in lean | agile approaches is critical, certifications and prior experience with any agile or lean methodologies are not required for many of our positions. The job requirements for our current openings will state if specific agile or lean knowledge and experience are necessary.
In most cases, JLS does not offer visas or work permits. You will need to be authorized to work in the country where the job is located unless otherwise stated in the job description. Applicants must be fluent in the language of the country where the job is based.

Internships are offered throughout the year and usually begin the first of the month. The job description will give you the specific starting date.
Internships are normally two to three months long unless otherwise stated in the job description.
Internship applicants must be authorized to work in the country in which the internship is based and must be fluent in the language of that country.
Yes, our internships are paid.
Assignments in an internship role vary across our company. Typically, they include collecting critical data, analyzing information or research, performing benchmark analysis, completing projects, creating new projects, creating financial models in Excel, preparing slides and documents, or supporting business development activities.
Interviewing and Hiring Process

Next, our hiring team will review your background and credentials, along with similar information from other applicants, to select a list of candidates. Because the number of applicants can be large for some jobs, this review process may take up to eight weeks. Your patience during our review process is appreciated.
If you are identified to move forward in our process, you will be contacted by a hiring manager, who will outline the next steps in the process.
If you are not identified to move forward, you still may be contacted about other opportunities that align with your profile or interests.

We use a combination of case studies and experience interviews. You will be asked questions about your academic and work experiences. You will have the opportunity to tell us about your past achievements or successes, and what value you think you may bring to our business.
The interview process is not only about our assessment. It is also about you getting to know JLS: our people, our values, and our business. You will have a chance to ask some questions of us.
In most cases, our interviews are conducted by a hiring manager and a team representative (peer and /or leader).

Consequently, you will have to go where our clients are located. For an out-of-town engagement, you could travel up to five days a week, depending on the type of project and the client’s needs. Assignments that allow our consultants to work remotely and only be on site for specific meetings, interviews, or other sessions are less common.
